We kick off the day with a warm-up ride on a nearby track, giving you time to get comfortable with your bike. During this time, our experienced guide will help you and provide any tips or assistance you might need. With over 20 years of experience in national off-road competitions and 17 years as a tour guide, our guide is here to ensure you feel confident and ready for the adventure ahead.
From there we will be heading into the heart of the Algarve’s mountains, following routes that wind through cork groves, which create a unique backdrop for our ride until the first stop in a small Cafe. Throughout the day, we’ll be taking several breaks at some of the best spots for photos.
Getting back on the saddle, we will start diving deeper into the less-travelled areas of the Algarve. Our route will take us through challenging valleys, rolling hills and alongside with lakes, allowing you to experience the diversity of the off-road trails we have. The final stretch before lunch are 20k’s on the iconic N2, famous for its scenic "twisties", offering some of the best road-riding experiences in Portugal.
For lunch, we’ll stop in a small, traditional village at a local restaurant. You’ll have the opportunity to try authentic mountain dishes like wild boar or pork cheeks, giving you a true taste of the Algarve’s rustic cuisine.
With most of the km’s behind us from the morning ride, we’ll spend the afternoon cruising along the mountain ridges, hitting some faster off-road sections. These are the same thrilling routes once used by the WRC when the Rally of Portugal passed through, offering an exciting ride with breathtaking views along the way.
After the excitement of the faster sections, we’ll take a relaxing break at a spot where the serene atmosphere and idyllic views will help you unwind and reset. Once refreshed, we’ll continue the adventure with a mix of terrains before heading back to our starting point, ending the day with tired body but the peace of mind that comes from a day packed with adventure.
